File Submission Guidelines

  • Allow 1/8 of inch of border for cutting leaving no text or images in these boarder areas.
  • The best 4 color black used for printing backgrounds is : Cyan %50, Majenta %20, Yellow %20, & Black % 100
  • All files must be flattened before being saved and we will not print un-flattened images.
  • When creating the file for best results make sure every image used in your design is 400 dpi.
  • Minimum Resolution for print is 300 dpi though 400-600 is best whenever possible.
  • Fonts and images should be embedded in to the file, we are unable to accept attached fonts or images.

For the cleanest cuts

We print most files full bleed and gang run our jobs on large sheets of paper with other client orders on the same sheet. As to ensure straight cuts, when creating your file remember to bleed out an extra .25. What that means is, if you are ordering 4 x 6 postcards then your file should bleed to 4.25 x 6.25.

Then make sure all text and images that you don't want to be cut off are an 1/8 inch inside from the final trim size which is 4 x 6. (Make sure the image bleeds all the way out and do not leave a white boarder unless you want white boarders.

Preparation of door hangers

When designing for a door hanger being printed using our gang run process It is also recommended to keep all text and images you don't want cut at least 3.25" inches from the top of the document.

Custom Jobs

Designing to our specifications for gang runs is not always possible and we understand this. We do offer a custom printed option that is affordable and available to you whenever you need it done your way. Please contact us to learn more!

Faster printing tips

Our process requires every file to be converted to JPEG in order to plate the images for print and it is for this reason that we suggest that you submit the file in a 400 DPI – CMYK - JPEG file format which is considered print ready upon submission. Submitting other file types will require you to review a JPEG proof via email and give written permission to print via FAX. The reason is because the conversion process to JPEG could shift images or text and we want to ensure this does not occur.

Proofing your files is your job!

It is your job to proof your files against spelling errors, graphic design flaws, and color combinations before we print. Be sure you have carefully reviewed your files before submitting them to print.
